Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation Limited (“ASMC”) was initially incorporated as Shanghai Philips Semiconductor, a Sino-foreign joint venture established in 1988, which was renamed as Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited in 1995, reorganized into a foreign-invested joint stock company in 2004, merged by absorption into GTA Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (“GTA”) in 2019.

ASMC is a large-scale integrated circuit (“IC”) chip manufacturer, located at Caohejing Hi-Tech Park in Xuhui District Shanghai. At present, GTA(ASMC) possesses wafer production lines of 5-inch, 6-inch and 8-inch, with a leading dedicated analog foundry focusing primarily on the manufacturing of analog IC, and power discretes chips. ASMC has an annual production capacity of 664,000 8-inch equivalent wafers, which was also recognized as a high-tech enterprise by Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality. Meanwhile, ASMC has passed a series of certification relative to the quality, environment and information security management system standard namely ISO 9001, VDA 6.3(Grade A), IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 27001 and etc, and also is the pioneer in manufacturing automotive electronic chips, IGBT chips in domestic market. ASMC has a leading position in the analog wafer foundry with over thirty years experience in chip manufacturing, and leading edges in analog IC process technology and facilities, and its strict quality management system.

ASMC’s customers include world’s leading integrated device manufactures and fabless semiconductor companies, with its products being widely used in a broad range of fields of smart identification card, automotive electronics, power management, communication and electronic consumers. Through establishment of strategic industrial alliance with major IC producers in China, ASMC’s products have been applied to various fields including high speed rail, new energy vehicles and energy-saving industry and etc., which have already been recognized as the National Strategy Industry. The Company, leveraging its customized business model, made its self to better serve customers’ special manufacturing needs. The project of automotive electronics chips process research and development – National Science and Technology Major Project (“02 Special Project”) led by the company dramatically contributed to the development of national integrated circuit industry.

先进半导体制造有限公司（简称“上海先进”），于1988年由中荷合资成立为上海飞利浦半导体公司，1995年易名为上海先进半导体制造有限公司，2004年改制为上海先进半导体制造股份有限公司，2019年被上海积塔半导体有限公司吸收合并，改制为上海先进半导体制造有限公司。
