Biography
- Power System Expert with more than 30 years experience swinging from Industrial to Automotive Markets. Establishing and leading Marketing and Application teams to support and resolve Customers Power challenges, with the definition and generation of components and system-approach enabling Solutions.
- He is currently the lead of PowerSystem Marketing and Architecture at Renesas Electronics, which he joined last year to contribute the focused effort that the Company is dedicating to power business growth across the different market segments, with expanded portfolio swinging from Si to WBG components, able to lead competition from industrial to Automotive, and resonating with mega trends like AI and Electrification. His team is spread in the three regions, defining and supporting system power solutions for all the key applications in focus.
- At onsemi (2021-2023) as part of the Automotive EV-Traction Solutions business unit, he has been leading the Application and PLM team of Munich in the assigned regions and WW activities, with the scope to define and develop new SiC and Si Power Module and Bare DIE portfolio in response to market demand, and specific business engagements, considering system solutions as well on top of the dedicated semiconductors, in cooperation with all the OEMs and Tier1 investing in electric vehicles.
- He worked 11 years at Texas Instruments, since moving to from Italy to Germany in 2008. At TI, his worldwide Business Development responsibilities remained centered on Power products with application focus swinging from Telecommunications and Cloud, leveraging his earlier career in Siemens, Ericsson and ST Microelectronics and Academia,to Automotive systems. In his last years at TI, the activity of his System Engineering team was focused on HEV-EV Automotive market sector, developing specific system expertise and contributing the development of new power parts and collaterals, dedicated to the OBC, DCDC and Traction Inverter End Equipment.
