Lead StarFive SOC architecture of SOC products and drive the SOC technology development. 32 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, from SOC architecture, CPU architecture & design (CISC & RISC), Machine Learning Accelerator architecture, Full Chip SOC integration, logic design, verification, SRAM circuit design, Video Codec to Memory Controller. He has extensive international working experience, worked in USA (11 years), China (2 years), and Malaysia (19 years). He was FPGA IP Architect in Intel Programmable Solutions Group (FPGA), where he leads the architecture definition, IP security, design and validation for chip-to-chip IPs (Interlaken, SerialLite) and PCIe Gen4 Controller. He was also an Intel X86 CPU architect working on Branch Prediction and Instruction Decode. In Marvel, he was a SoC architect delivering various client and embedded computing SOC products. In Broadcom, he was a micro-architect successfully delivered multiple SOCs for Broadband modems and TV set-top boxes.
