Pavel Freundlich serves as a Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Power Solutions Group at onsemi in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA. He leads development of semiconductor technologies for automotive and industrial power conversion, maintaining the company’s technological leadership by delivering novel and disruptive silicon and silicon carbide solutions for power switching devices. With the increasing requirements for high efficiency power conversion achievable only by means of wide bandgap materials, Pavel has focused on vertical integration of silicon carbide material and processes at onsemi to address supply chain challenges and to support adoption of wide bandgap semiconductor devices. Pavel holds a master’s degree in solid state physics, a PhD in materials science, and an MBA.

Christophe Maleville has been appointed Chief Technology Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Soitec’s Innovation.
He joined Soitec in 1993 and was a driving force behind the company’s joint research activities with CEA-Leti. For several years, he led new SOI process development, oversaw SOI technology transfer from R&D to production, and managed customer certifications. He also served as vice president, SOI Products Platform at Soitec, working closely with key customers worldwide.
Maleville has authored or co-authored more than 30 papers and also holds some 30 patents. He has a PhD in microelectronics from Grenoble Institute of Technology and obtained an executive MBA from INSEAD.

Peter serves as Senior Vice President of the Communications Infrastructure and Security Business Unit at IQE, leveraging decades of business development and sales expertise in the semiconductor industry. His foundation is rooted in product design and engineering. Before joining IQE, Peter spent over a decade in executive roles at GlobalFoundries Inc, where he was responsible for foundry sales partnerships and business development.
Peter earned a BSEE degree from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1986 and an MSEE with a concentration in RF systems design from the University of Massachusetts in 1991. Additionally, he completed the IBM Executive Management program and the Executive Program for Growing Companies at Stanford University.
An active voice in the RF communications and wireless technology sectors, Peter has co-authored papers, published numerous trade journal articles and blogs, and frequently speaks on industry trends and developments. He is a member of IEEE.

Seungho Pi joined SK Siltron CSS in February 2024. He started his career at SK hynix after earning his Ph.D in 1995. He has led numerous crucial projects aimed at overcoming the limits of scaling. Notably, his team’s achievements include a unique structure that maximizes the storage capacity of 3D NAND and a Fin Cell structure that overcomes the scaling limits of DRAM. In 2021, he moved to SK Siltron, where he made significant contributions to productivity improvement and quality enhancement.Seungho Pi graduated from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, with a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering in 1989 and he got master’s and Ph. D degree from KAIST In 1991 and 1995 respectively. He obtained around 100 patents from several countries.

Surya Iyer is President at Polar Semiconductor and previously held senior management and engineering positions at Cypress Semiconductor and Applied Materials. Appointed by the Walz-Flanagan administration, Surya is the Chair of the Minnesota Governor’s Workforce Development Board. Surya serves on the Governing Council for SEMI/FOA and is an adjunct Professor of Engineering at the University of St. Thomas. Surya attended Wharton, was a fellow at Stanford, received his post-graduate degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, and an undergraduate engineering degree from IIT-Kanpur. He has 20 patents related to semiconductor processing and equipment design and over 25 peer-reviewed publications.
Polar Semiconductor is a U.S.-owned MN located 200mm foundry specializing in sensor and power semiconductors, for high-volume manufacturing of silicon and wide-bandgap ICs and discrete devices, and specialty products tailored for Automotive, Industrial, and Aerospace & Defense applications.

Ramanan has been working with power management ICs and power semiconductors for more than 2 decades spanning end markets such as enterprise power, consumer power, automotive powertrain and others. He has worked on AC-DC power management controllers, high voltage gate drivers and GaN FETs at Texas Instruments and International Rectifier (now Infineon) and is presently leading the SiC power business at Qorvo.

Senior Director of Product Marketing & Market Development
Mr. Amr Darwish has over 18+ years of experience in the technology and semiconductor fields. Previously during his time at Integrated Device Technology (IDT), Amr served in various Product Marketing and Technical roles, which spanned over North America, Europe, and Asia. Amr was a Cofounder of MaxPower Semiconductor, where he served as the COO. MaxPower was acquired by Vishay Siliconix in October 2022, where Amr was formerly the Senior Director of Product Marketing & Market Development for the Silicon Carbide division of Vishay.
With a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA), Amr has been able to use his blend of disciplines to create effective corporate & sales strategies and key strategic relationships, which have proliferated MaxPower’s (now Vishay’s) products into consumer, industrial, and automotive marketplaces.
In addition, Amr currently serves as the Chair of the Santa Clara University (SCU) Graduate Business Program Alumni Board, is a lead-investor and board member of several technology companies, serves as a start-up advisor in the Bronco Venture Accelerator and is a Partner in the Bronco Venture Capital Fund.
