As the market demands ever more efficient power electronics, SiC power device manufacturing faces increasing challenges in achieving homogeneous and precise doping of the voltage sustaining layer. This leads to high component cost, yield issues and limits further device progress. Thus, mi2-factory suggests to split up the fabrication of the epi layer into two steps: first, a mere epi-deposition step (undoped) and second, a high precision deep doping step. How to accomplish this? mi2-factory introduces its advanced high energy ion implanter called “EFIITRON.” EFIITRON technology enables high-precision micrometer deep doping with an accuracy better than +/- 3%. This groundbreaking technology offers a precise, flexible, and cost-effective solution for SiC doping in high-volume wafer production. It provides a wide range of options to develop new or enhanced SiC products, with some disruptive possibilities, like 3D doping structures. EFIITRON will also enable novel, cost-effective SiC substrates without the need for expensive epitaxy.

STRATUS Automation was founded by Ryo Narisawa in 1998 and currently being headquartered in Penang, Malaysia since 2016. STRATUS strive to be the global leader and trusted partner in AMHS by providing the best AMHS solution and continuous support for cleanroom fabs tailored to customer needs. Uniquely in its own way, Stratus Automation has been deploying an AMHS that is termed Hybrid System. The major systems in the Hybrid System mainly involve Overhead Hoist Transport (OHT) and a conveyor system. In this Hybrid System, conveyors are being used for Interbay transfers while the OHT main purpose is to serve for direct loading. Last but not least, Stratus also deploys its very own Transport Control System (TCS), IntelliMove in this Hybrid System which undoubtedly one of the best TCS in the market as it provides an interface to MCS and capable of traffic control.
Stratus Automation specializes in providing sustainable cleanroom AMHS solutions to support the increasing throughput demand of semiconductor industry. To support the rapidly expanding demand of semiconductor market, Stratus’ Hybrid AMHS is specifically designed to substantially increase throughput while halving initial and running costs. Hybrid AMHS combines all the advantages of Conveyor, Overhead Hoist Transport (OHT) and overhead storage (buffer shelves) in a single system where the Conveyor performs interbay transfers while OHT serves for intrabay transfers which requires direct loading/unloading of the carriers. Overhead buffer shelves provide overhead WIP storage and near tool buffer for carriers pending to be processed. Alternatively, Stratus provides multiple Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) solutions which caters for either massive capacity, multi-level, or overhead storage requirements. All Stratus products are controlled by Stratus’ in-house Transport Control System (TCS), IntelliMove – a smart control system packed with carrier real-time tracking and dynamic rerouting.

“TSE’s 30 years is a history of innovation and challenge.”
Through relentless innovation and challenge, we have become a pioneer in Korea’s semiconductor test industry, and have grown into a visionary creator of cutting-edge technologies that surpass today’s limitations, leading the way to a positive future.
TSE’s 30-year heritage of innovation is built upon diverse customer experiences, proven capabilities, and outstanding performance. We have not simply followed technology; we have set new standards and became an industry leader.
We develop LC components using MEMS technology and provide i3unify, an only integrated interface solution for probe cards, interface boards, and test sockets – the three key test interconnection hardware components for high-performance semiconductor devices. TSE’s continuous innovation and challenge provide unique value that allows us to lead the future together with our customers.
[Probe Card]
Through cutting-edge probe card design and manufacturing technology, TSE provides innovative solutions capable of precisely inspecting the electrical operation of DRAM, NAND, and SoC chips. Our probe cards are equipped with technology that allows for highly accurate probing of all pads on a die fabricated on a wafer.
[Interface Board]
Memory and non-memory test interface boards are crucial interconnection hardware in semiconductor test systems, acting as a medium for transmitting electrical signals between the semiconductor under test (device) and the test equipment. They provide stable test solutions in various test environments to verify the performance of high-speed memory devices such as DDR, LPDDR, and GDDR, as well as non-memory devices like CPUs, GPUs, Chipsets, APs, and Microcontrollers.
[Test Socket]
A test socket is a device used to test the performance of semiconductor chips after the packaging process. As a test interconnection hardware used in the process of screening good and defective packaged products before shipment, it temporarily houses the packaged chip (Device Under Test, DUT) and establishes a mechanical contact, serving as a medium for electrical signal transmission between the DUT and the test equipment.
